Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada, is an actor famous for her character Bo in The Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk both were professors. Ilkay was also a director, producer and playwright. She's the director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna recalls her mom watching at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two of the early stage productions, including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk was a resident of Toronto in her quest to act and progress, and then moved to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop in Los Angeles, in 2007. They got married in 2009 and married at a civil wedding ceremony in the month of December in that same year. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's was converted to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk's television work includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica and she won the Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk announced to her fans that she was pregnant in January 2013 at a Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. On June 20, 2013 Silk posted on Twitter that she was back to the series. CNN Cable News Network named Bo, along with Lauren Zoie Palmer as the couples with identical sexuality on Lost Girl to be one of the top television Couples ever. E! Magazine declared them Top TV Couples of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter, as a direct consequence of its success.
